ILearning Global has a new, redesigned website with a plethora of innovative and amazing features, all accessible by its members. The subsequent review covers simply a few of the features you will be able to access. You will need to log in to iLearning Global before you can access these features because this is a member's only site.
Fresh Content & Feature News
In this ever changing world, the Content and Featured News tab is planned to keep you aware of things in the future as they are available. As content is released on a weekly basis, it will be shown under this tab as early as a month in advance.
Powerful Tutorials
Tutorials will be placed under this tab randomly but on a frequent basis. The tab will include tutorials on how to access various site features and how to improve your skills by using your computer.
Valuable Content Archives
The Content Archives tab is where you can find old posts. The various categories and subcategories including the previous 50 posts will help you find the information you need. Monthly search options are also available. The Recent Content sidebar gives you the newest five posts so that you can access the freshest content.
Helpful Support
The Support tab allows you to leave a request for support. Should you have any questions or problems with the site, this is the tab that you can use for assistance.
Contribute Your Insight
The Contribute tab is how iLearning Global keeps the site a two-way place for communication. Members can become involved and help develop the content and site here.
Easy Search
The Search form is in two places, at the top and in the side bar. It allows you to search by specific terms, and you find content related to the topic in which you are most interested. Any time you conduct a search, you will see the newest six content videos that have been posted. You can also select "previous" to see additional videos that have been posted.
Home Page
The Home Page has so much available that it is a genuinely great place to start when you visit the website. The new featured videos are included each week. The Home Page also has daily featured content and videos in the various topic fields. You will see the newest video as well as two others when you select a topic of interest.
The Home Page allows you to see recent contributors and additional content when you search for a specific topic. The Content Categories drop down bar allows you to find the videos of that category easily and quickly.
The Category Navigation bar at the top of the Home Page allows you to find some of the most popularly accessed content on the site. When you scroll over a category, all of the subcategories will appear as a drop down menu. When you scroll over the subcategories you will get additional subcategories making it even quicker and easier to find precisely what you want. The most recently posted videos will be shown to you here, too.
There is a caption option included in the navigation bar for anyone who may have a hearing impairment or do not speak English as a first language. When you choose this feature you can have the captions for that video in the language of your choice. Click on CC as the video starts, choose the caption language you would like, and continue to watch the video. Captions are syncronized with the speaker for added ease in viewing.
Ranking Content
On the Content page, you will have the ability to give the video a rating, a thumbs up/thumbs down, related posts, and additional content by that speaker/author. What this does is allow you to create your own guided path to make the content and site even more efficient to use. Your comments are welcome and you can leave them here to expand the community and share your thoughts about the videos.
